The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier X is what happens when “amp-in-a-box” finally stops feeling like a compromise. Immediate, punchy, and incredibly responsive, it delivers the feel of a real amp pushing air—without the hassle of mics, cabs, or volume wars.
Whether you’re running direct, building a silent rig, or need your tone to stay consistent night after night, this doesn’t just get close—it feels right under your fingers.
WELCOME TO THE X
The most advanced analog amp simulator ever made.
RESEARCH. DESIGN. IMPROVE.
The Simplifier X was developed for guitarists who demand versatility, flexibility, and practicality—without sacrificing tone. Built to deliver some of the best sounds possible from analog gear.
“Designed to fulfill the needs of guitarists seeking versatility, flexibility, practicality, and the best analog tones.”

NO MENU DIVING. ZERO LATENCY. ULTRA-REALISTIC SOUND AND FEEL.
What you see is what you get.
UNPRECEDENTED CONNECTIVITY
- True stereo (dual independent inputs)
- 3 versatile routing modes (no Y cables needed)
- Dual FX sends/returns
- THRU jack for dedicated dry amp signal path
- 1/4" outputs with cab sim bypass
- Dual XLR DI outputs
MORE IS MORE: THE MODES
1. A/B AMP + A/B CAB
Dual mono operation—like having two separate amps. Each channel features its own preamp, power section, cab, reverb, and FX loop. Switch between them with an A/B toggle, each with independent effects.
2. A/B AMP + STEREO CAB
Switch between Amp A and B while keeping stereo cabinets and FX loops active. Perfect for creating wider, more dimensional tones with different cab and FX combinations on each side.
3. FULL PARALLEL
Run two amps simultaneously. Dial in completely independent tones and effects per side for a massive, fully stereo rig.
ASSIGNABLE AUX INPUT
Selectable AUX input for silent practice via headphones or send auxiliary audio directly to FOH using the XLR outputs.
MULTI-STAGE STEREO REVERB
- Independent mix control per channel
- Short: Room-style
- Mid: Plate-style
- Long: Ether-style
